This is the list of mods I use on my WoW. Note that some may not be useful to you depending on which class you play or your playstyle. I also have my own custom PHP based Ace updater script that I made which is designed for the Mac but can probably be adapated to work for other machines with PHP command line support installed. It downloads the no-ext versions of the mods so there is only one copy of each library. There are instructions in the file of how to edit it as needed to work for the mods you use. - Atlas - maps of most instances
- BigWigs - has timers for most major bosses, there is also LittleWigs for 5 man instances
- Cartographer - full featured map replacement with many useful features such as coordinates, map notes and more
- ChatStamp - simple mod to allow display of timestamps in chat
- Clique - allows you to customize spells to be cast on clicking interface elements combined with modifiers, very useful when combined with Grid or another raid inferface
- CooldownTimers2 - customizable cooldown timer bars with built in notifications of cooldown expiration
- Deadly Boss Mods - has timers and announce features for most major bosses and also includes timers for battlegrounds
- Demon - creates a quick look display of the status of important debuffs on the target or focus, customizable (great for making sure important debuffs aren't dropping off)
- Elephant - chat logger, makes it very easy to keep track of past conversations even if you get disconnected or have to relog
- ErrorBlock - simple mod that takes errors that would be generated in popup windows and redirects them to the chat window
- Grid - raid interface for tracking status and healing
- Info Bar - has many modules to display bits of information in a convenient form such as coordinates, money, bag slots, regen rates
- ItemRack - allows you to create outfits that you can swap with hotkeys or a menu
- Incubator - provides trash respawn timers for raid instances
- LinksList - keeps an item database of all items you see including their sell values, also lets you link items from the database
- Main Assist - lets you set hotkeys to assist and to set the current assist
- Natur EnemyCastBar - shows timers for spells cast by your target, also can show timers for your own spells and allow you to set custom timers
- oRA2 - raid mod replacement for CT Raid, goes well with sRaidFrames
- Omen - tracks threat and has built in warnings and displays to help you manage it
- Persistence of Chattiness - allows you to default chat in numbered channels the way you can in other channels
- Proximo - useful arena interface and tools
- Quartz - castbar replacement that adds additional useful information and shows you latency timing to allow adjustment for
- RatingBuster - converts stats and ratings to values you can understand more easily
- Recount - damage meter, easy to use and includes detailed breakdowns and graphs of where the damage is coming from in addition to other useful details like CC breaks
- Remove Dragon - removes the dragon graphic around the button bar
- Reputation Monitor - displays a small monitor for reputations on your screen that shows the current amount and the change since login. You can turn on as many or as few reputations as you want to track
- SpellBinder - allows you to bind hotkeys to abilities/spells/whatever without having to put them on your bar
- TrinketMenu - creates a little trinket window where you can select trinkets, view their cooldowns, set them up to be queued, etc.
- WeaponRebuff - creates buttons for quick application and refresh of weapon enchantments and poisons, will warn you when you're running out of charges and when your enchantment is about to expire
- X-Perl UnitFrames - customizable unit frames replacement with many useful added features
- XRS - XRaidStatus allows you to customize a quick look interface to all the important data you need to know about your raid (status on deaths, range, mana, buffs, etc)

- LittleTrouble - autoshot timer mod for hunters
- Shard Ace - useful to warlocks, tracks your shards, lets you set a healthstone hotkey, tracks soulstone and healthstone cooldowns and many more useful warlock specific features
