Cedars

Matt and Vanessa worry over Dinah, gossip about Roger. Elsewhere,
Roger is being evaluated by staff psychiatrists. Roger goes on and on
about his days in the Agency (isn't any of this classified, Rog?), then
starts talking about how Dinah and Hart are out to get him.

Hart's apartment

Dinah comes a-knocking. Hart is upset at her visit, since she
might "blow the whole thing".

Commercial.

Hart's

Hart apologizes for blowing up. The two chit-chat about their
plot, then about how they'll have to continue the charade of being
enemies. Liplock.

Cedars

Vanessa has another dizzy spell. Matt is comforting, but Van is
in denial, attributing her symptoms to worry, lack of sleep, etc. Bloss
enters. Roger has requested a meeting at the hospital with Blake.
Meanwhile, Roger continues to dig a hole for himself with the
psychiatrists, elucidating what he perceives to be the steps in Dirt's
plot against him. As the doctors leave, Blake enters. Roger tries to
do a head game on her, pointing out her lies and her participation in
Dirt's plot. Blake fires back: you shot your own son. "Fathers don't
shoot their sons. Fathers walk away before they're ever pulled into a
situation like that. Fathers put the gun down." Roger claims he was
threatened, Blake wants to know with what. Roger evades, goes back to
harping on telling the truth. He even plays "for the unborn
grandchildren" bit. Blake fires back by asking Roger about the
Lonitrat, and his plot to drive Dinah buggy. (I love these back and
forths between Roger and daughter.)

Commercial

Hart's

Dirt continues to neck. Schmaltzy chit-chat.

Cedars

Blake keeps asking about the Lonitrat. Roger claims that Dinah
was trying to drug *him*. Meanwhile, Ross is salivating over the case,
gleeful that he has so much evidence and so many witnesses. Leo
"Dreamboat" Flynn enters. Ross and Leo snipe. Enter Dinah; she's a bit
worried when she hears that Blake is talking to Roger. Leo goes to
speak with Roger, Dinah follows.

Commercial

Cedars

Blake excuses herself; Roger hits her one more time with "Tell the
truth." Ross comes to collect Blake. Dinah talks with Blake in front
of Ross, trying to gauge Blake's resolve without tipping off Ross. They
leave for the courthouse. Meanwhile, Roger tells Leo to look into the
fake body from the cave. Leo thinks Roger doesn't know what he's
talking about, and starts waxing lyrical about the Caymans and money.
Roger fires him.

Commercial

Courtroom

Hart enters, looks around, has a philosophical moment, reminisces
about shtupping Dinah. He wanders outside, where most of the principals
are gathered. Bridget comes up to Ross, tells him about Roger's
outbursts at Company. Bridget watches Dinah watches Hart watches
Bridget watches Hart watches Dinah. Hart tries to find out what Bridget
plans to say if she testifies; she pledges her support of him. The
hearing begins, without Roger or Leo. The judge is a snippy fellow.
Roger comes in, states that he will be representing himself. The judge
allows it, but only with Leo as co-counsel. Roger successfully asks
that his handcuffs be removed. Ross does his opening statements. When
Ross requests that Dinah be named the conservator of his estate, a great
big light bulb goes off over Roger's head.

Commercial

Courtroom

Roger realizes that Dirt has been working to get at his money, or
rather, get back Dinah's embezzled money. Roger's opening statement:
I'm not crazy, and Dirt is out to get me! Ross calls Dr. Brooke, who
basically tells the court that Roger is nuts and needs to be locked up.
Roger is aghast; in cross-examination, he tries a couple dramatic stunts
that fail big time. Ross calls Supercop Cleary, then Supercop Cooper.
Much talk of Hart's letter, the night of the coffin, etc. Ross calls
Dinah to the stand. She goes over the history of Roger's supposed
downward spiral. (She refers to Laura as Roger's ex-wife; I don't think
that's correct.)

Commercial

Courtroom

In cross examination, Roger tries to get Dinah to confess that she
set him up to drink the Lonitrat. Dinah is too cool, of course. He
threatens to make her pay for everything. Yeah, Rog, this is going to
convince the judge that you should be able to walk around free. Ross
rests his case; Roger calls Blake to the stand. Roger pushes at Blake
to tell the truth about the supposed Dirt plot. Freeze frame on Blake's
face as she prepares herself to respond.
