Holly Snaps

This story takes place 1 month after the tragic death of Baby Meg in a
freak accident. She is tired and weary, barely making it
through the days. She and Fletcher have grown incredibly distant. The
realty that they never belonged together beats down on Holly every day. 

Holly comes back from a walk. Walking is the only thing that keeps her 
mind at ease. When she walks inside, the place is it's usual mess. Beer 
cans, pizza boxes, empty ice cream cartons, candy wrappers litter every 
inch of the house. She tried to clean up after Fletcher, but it got to be 
too much. Every maid she hired quit. Holly sits down and starts to cry, 
thinking of the mess she's made of her life. 

The phone rings. 

It's the hospital. 

"We've got the test results. Meg died because she was fed expired baby 
food."

Holly slams the phone down after saying goodbye and looks over at 
Fletcher, passed out drunk on the couch. Why did she marry him????

Fletcher all of sudden wakes up and let's on a loud burp. 

"Did you bring me some beer?"

"NO!! I just got off the phone w/the hospital!!!!!! Meg died..." HOlly is 
furious, she runs back and forth in the apartment "because YOU FED HER 
EXPIRED BABY FOOD!!!!!!!"

"What makes you think *I* did it!??!?!?!?!"

"Fletcher, I know you had stupidly kept some in your desk at work for 
her. I saw how old it was and threw it out! BUT Sally the receptionist 
told me you got it out of the trash can!!!!!!"

Fletcher stands up, scratches himself, burps again and says, "SO!? I was 
just trying to save some money...it worked with Ben....how was I supposed 
to know it was bad??"

"YOu're pathetic!!! I am so sorry I EVER got on that desk with you!!! You 
weren't that great, and I got splinters!!!!!! Aside from Meg, nothing 
good came from our marriage and I don't see why we're together?"

"We can't break up! It would totally show the world how fake and phoney 
our Folly world has been!"

"I don't care!!!!!"

"If you leave me, you'll regret it."

"I can't regret it any more than I do now!"

"Holly, I can't let you leave"

"WHAT? Are you crazy?"

"Yes. I mean, no, you can't leave. I had you sign this paper giving me 
all your assetts in case of divorce!"

"I didn't sign that!"

"Yes you did, you were DRUNK!!!"

"You B)(*#)(#*)(ard!!!!!"

"Come on over and give me a kiss!!"

"I am leaving!!!!!!!"

Holly runs to go to her car. Soon she will be free from this jerk forever!

Fletcher follows and grabs her a little too hard. She turns around, and 
screams "Don't you EVER do that again!"

Unfortunately, Fletcher is drunk, and stumbles, trips over a pizza box, 
and falls down the stairs to the basement! He is killed instantly!!!!
