Hope I can get a bit of feedback. I need to put together a testing environment for testing our websites with Firefox old and newest, IE 5, IE 6, IE 7. The OS's are Vista, XP.
My plan is to use the Microsoft Virtual PC and use ghost images for the various OS's.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Any feedback--link to tutorial or other info is greatly welcome.
Thank you.

MS VirtualPC 2007 on WindowsXP Pro SP2:

- all Windows Version will work good, WWW and Network available
- OpenSuSE 10.2 the same as Windows
- Fedora Core 6 also the same

It works fine, but don't ask me why Very Happy

You can put the URL of the page you want to test on http://browsershots.org/ and then tick all the browsers you want to test it in.

Unfortunately it's not interactive, it just takes a screenshot of the appearance of the page, but it is free adn it is very easy to use.

Alternatively just download all the browsers you can and test your site locally on them. You can get Safari for PC now and it does show websites in a very similar way to how it shows them on Macs.
